In Search Of The Sea has become much more than I had originally intended. Now with all of the media demands of the project, the approaching launch date, and all the other little projects, the need for community support is great. Even a donation of $5 will buy 5 feet of wiring (which goes a long way on a small boat!)

Get your name posted as "Dreamer" on the In Search Of The Sea website AND pick a day to come sailing onboard the vessel during the project and experience a day learning about the simple living lifestyle.
Donations of $300+:
Get your name posted as "Fellow Searcher" on the In Search Of The Sea website AND join in on a weekend sailing trip on the Columbia River to experience 2 days and 1 night of the simple living lifestyle onboard the vessel during the project (including a blog post about your adventure).
Significantly Larger Dontations :
If by chance you'd like to make a major donation to help us fund the vessel and media equipment, then you'll receive all of the above PLUS we'll consider naming the boat after you (or a name of your choosing that fits with the project)!
As you can see, it is easy to become part of the In Search Of The Sea project and experience first hand what it is to live a simple lifestyle. All donations are GREATLY appreciated as it will help keep this project "afloat" (no pun intended).
Sponsorship
The project is currently looking for sponsors to help fund and maintain the project. People all over the world are becoming interested in the simple living lifestyle as a way to improve their quality of life. In Search Of The Sea provides you with the opportunity to associate your company/product/service with the simple living way of life! Sponsorship includes :
*Permanent Ad placement on the blog (www.insearchofthesea.com). Currently the site receives 3,000 views per month. This number is expected to climb ever higher once the project launches. Already we are seeing monthly growth in the number of views on the site.
*Product / Ad placement in routine YouTube videos. Our goal is to have 2, 5-10 minute videos per month highlighting aspects of the simple living lifestyle. If your company has a product and/or service you'd like to see promoted, then sponsorship guarentees regular mention during the video's and recognition in the credits of each video.
*Promotion of your company at events. As the project grows, we plan on throwing events, seminars, and open forum discussions with the local community where we'd proudly display and advertise your company.
*Logo/Name/Brand displayed on boat. As the boat will be sailing and docking at many locations about the Portland Metropolitian area, your company would further be promoted wherever we visit! (And be visible during external shots of the boat during the YouTube web episodes).
